Despite the distribution of 5POA figures everywhere, there was a deal in place between Hasbro and Walmart to test market TFA SA figures. They arrived a few weeks ago. Along with repeats of OT Luke, Darth Vader, and Chewbacca, collectors finally found super articulated figures of Kylo Ren, First Order Stormtrooper, Finn, Poe Dameron, and Rey. These figures had bendable knees and elbows and could hold weapons with better poses. Along with this series, there was the long awaited Leia Ceremony figure from the end of A New Hope. This is a pretty cool and new addition to anyone's collection.

I like the SA figures but it's a hard thing to buy 3.75" for $13-ish when you can get 6" for $20-ish. Although the 6" line will never get the character depth the 3.75" line will.
ReplyDeleteHey Dex - very true. I'll grab a few SA just for comparison sake, but if they make it into a major line, I'll stick with 5POA. Sad it has come to that.
